Arsenal have officially confirmed they have signed high rated young midfielder Tyrell Robinson to a new long term contract at the club. The young Englishman had helped the Arsenal under 18 side reach the semi finals of the FA youth cup and was one of the key players for the under 18s in the league as well.
The versatile midfielder has now been rewarded with a new contract that will see him remain at the club for the next five years. The official statement on Arsenal’s website reads thus;
“Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Robinson on his new contract and looks forward to his continued progression at the club.”
This is good news for the club and the youngster. With a new contract signed, the 17-year-old is now sure his future lies with the club and his talent is appreciated by the club. This can only help him get better.
By agreeing to sign the new deal, Arsenal will know they won’t be losing the youngster to any clubs any time soon as the new deal means the club won’t have to sell if they do not want to sell. Makes it a win/win situation for both the club and the player.
