Done Deal? Club Reveals They Will Accept Arsenal Offers For BBC African Footballer of the Year

The transfer window is just days away from being shut, and there’ll be rush in the coming days with several clubs seeking to reinforce their squad.

Arsenal have been linked to so many wingers with Riyad Mahrez top of the list – however, Leicester City have ruled out a move for the player stating that he would remain at the KingPower Stadium for another season.

With the apparent need for an attacker, Arsenal have now turned their attention to 26-year-old Porto Winger Yacine Brahimi, this is according to reports.

The report claims Chelsea are keenly interested in the player too but the two London clubs are willing to pay 15million Euros for the player against his 30million Euros Valuation.

The skillful winger, who joined the Portuguese outfit from Granada, is understood to be training alone because he wants his future to be settled.

A left winger, it is a position that Arsenal need to strengthen and given that he can also play on the right or as an attacking midfielder, his versatility would appeal to Wenger.

He picked up the BBC African Footballer of the Year Award for 2014 but hasn’t looked the same player since he returned from the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015 which seems to be a large part of why Porto are trying to sell him.
