Arsenal have Hoffenheim’s Florian Grillitsch on their radar and the player’s agent travelled to England last week, according to reports.
German outlet Bild write that English sides Arsenal and Tottenham are on a ‘hunt’ for the Hoffenheim defensive midfielder. According to their sources, Grillitsch is on both clubs’ radars, and the player’s agent travelled to England last week. Bild speculate that this is to make ‘first contact’ with the clubs, but that’s not confirmed at this stage.
Bohm spoke to the media recently and said: “The fact that Flo is in the focus of top clubs with his strong performances, is no big secret. But he feels comfortable in Hoffenheim and still has goals with the TSG. Everything else will be seen.”
Grillitsch has a contract with Hoffenheim until 2021, but Bild claim he has a release clause. However, they don’t specify the exact value of the clause, only saying that the clause means it would be difficult for the Bundesliga club to prevent a summer transfer.
