Arsenal transfer target Mauro Icardi has revealed that he isn’t “well informed” about the reports that he would complete a move to join the Emirate Landlord, this is according to reports.
After seeing a bid for Aleksandre Lacazette rebuffed, Arsenal seem to have turned their attention to the Argentina born goal poacher. However, it is understood that Arsenal are only willing to offer less than the 50million Pounds valuation of the player.
When quizzed about a possible move to the Emirates, Icardi said:
“There have been a lot of rumours over recent days,” Icardi said. “The truth is that I have been a long way from home for a month, so I’m not very informed about what is happening.
“The criticism? People looking from the outside can think whatever they want, I am staying calm.”
From all indications, it seems the fans will be seeing a striker at the club this week, reports can confirm.
Arsenal have been linked with a host of strikers this summer and it was looking as though we will not be signing anyone after all. However, fresh updates suggest that we are close to signing Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.
