As Arsenal fans the world over continue to wail over Jamie Vardy snub, the Gunners have almost completed the deal which will see Hector Bellerin play at the Emirates stadium next season
Veteran Dani Alves departure from Spanish champions Barcelona was confirmed earlier this week and his departure has further fueled speculation linking the Arsenal young star Hector Bellerin to Barcelona.
Barcelona have identified Spanish youngster Hector Bellerin as a perfect replacement for the departed Brazilian Dani Alves who arrived Juventus just yesterday to finalized his free move to Turin.
According to report, the Premier league club Arsenal has told Barcelona that they have no chance of snatching back their rising star. Bellerin, 21, is now expected to sign a new 5-year contract with Arsenal, and the player was part of the Spanish contingent heading back home after the second round defeat in the hand of Italy yesterday at the on-going European championship.
Guillem Balague and Sky Sports believe the deal will never come to fruition:
‘Barcelona are trying to get Hector Bellerin of Arsenal, and they think they have a chance,’ Balague told SkySportsNews HQ.
‘Arsenal thinks they’ve got no chance whatsoever.’
The young full back joined Arsenal youth set up from the popular Barcelona academy set up La Masia in 2011, the player has enjoyed rapid development to the first team and went on to displace Mathieu Debuchy as the first choice right back.
