The January transfer market is a little over two weeks to be re-opened and as expected, Arsenal will be busy in the window but for the outward transfer players.
According to reports, Championship side Aston Villa are keen on sign Carl Jenkinson on a loan deal.
The Mirror claims that Steve Bruce, who has a close relationship with Arsene Wenger has begun talks with Wenger….
Jenkinson suffered a cruciate ligament injury during a temporary stint at West Ham. He returned to action last month but was a shadow of himself in all the games he played.
However, ESPN suggest West Ham, Stoke, Sunderland, Watford, Burnley and Hull have all made inquiries to Arsenal to see if they can sign Jenkinson on loan.
Hector Bellerin is Wenger’s preffered right-back and Jenkinson’s first-team opportunities have become increasingly limited with the Spaniard in impressive form.
