Deal On: Wenger Undaunted By Price-Tag For Sought After Forward – Bid Tabled

Prior to the purchase of Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013, Arsene Wenger was accused of being frugal in his transfer dealings. However, he broke his transfer record and threw Gunners into a frenzy.

According to reports, Arsenal are yet undone in the transfer market and Wenger is undaunted by the reported 41million pounds price tag of their transfer target Riyad Mahrez. The London club are willing to break the bank for Mahrez.

Despite Arsenal’s readiness to splash such huge sum on the silky winger, there is no telling if he would be let off the radar of the Premier League Champions. Leicester City sold Kante to Chelsea and if they must retain their title, they must retain a core of the last season’s winning team.

The Premier League title has eluded Arsenal for more than a decade due to the lack of depth in the quality players. Should Mahrez complete the move to Arsenal, he will make the team more competitive with his attacking and creative prowess.
