Even outside the transfer window, Arsenal continues to be linked with the transfer of certain player.
Barcelona are once again being linked with a move for Hector Bellerin and, according to reports, they are preparing a January swoop for the youngster who left the La Masia academy a long time ago.
The Catalans are apparently looking for a replacement for 33-year-old Dani Alves and some reports are claiming that Bellerin is the man they want in his place. In fact, they’re claiming that they want to make a swoop for the Spaniard, who we signed from Barcelona’s youth team in 2011, as soon as January.
Bellerin’s Arsenal contract still has three years on it. However, due to his age and skill, he’s apparently started to turn heads. A talented, youthful defender is hot property in Europe, it seems.
Reports according to Tuttomercatoweb are also reporting on the Bellerin link but have also mentioned that the La Liga club are also looking at Shakhtar Donetsk’s Dario Srna and Valencia’s Joao Cancelo.
As Arsenal fans, we’re used to Barcelona coming and taking back the players they didn’t want before we developed them. However, I’m hoping that this time Bellerin won’t be so easy to entice.
