With the transfer market still very much open and lively, Arsenal will continue to be linked to several players in top European clubs.
The latest of such report is Brazil born right back, Bruno da Silva Peres, who currently laces his boot for Italian giant Torino, per clubcall.
The recent injury to Arsenal Captain Per Mertesacker has left the club in a position where we are condemned to sign a centre back. However, the prospect of Mathieu Debuchy’s departure means Arsenal are also in need of a right back.
Hector Bellerin is currently the first-choice but Mathieu Debuchy is expected to depart and Carl Jenkinson is missing until at least October after suffering a serious knee injury during his loan stay at West Ham last season.
Peres, 26, joined Torino from Santos in the summer of 2014 for a fee of around 2.2million Euros and have since went on to be a regular starter for the Turin club. It is believed that Arsenal can sign him for a cut price.
