ARSENAL manager Unai Emery has dropped a fresh transfer hint in the wake of the disappointing defeat to West Ham.

The Gunners were beaten 1-0 on Saturday with Declan Rice scoring the only goal of the game.

Mesut Ozil was left out for Arsenal despite training all week and their lack of creativity showed in east London.

Arsenal’s defensive problems were also at the fore again with Emery’s side constantly struggling at the back.

The Spaniard recently said that the Emirates outfit will only be able to bring in targets on loan.

But he has spoken again and Emery’s latest comments may give some hope to Arsenal fans, with Emirates chiefs hard at work on potential deals.

“We have good players,” Emery told Sky Sports.

“We need to continue to working and taking confidence.

“The club is working but I am happy with the players.”

It’s believed that Arsenal are on something of a cost-cutting measure following recent big money moves for the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
