Arsene Wenger has given a press conference ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League game with Burnley. But the French manager was quizzed over the possibility of another deal this winter but he as usual, he left so much to be desired.
According to report, Arsenal have advanced talks over a possible deal for deadly Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal.
The 24-year-old’s current contract with the Ligue 1 club expires at the end of the season, meaning that he could leave on a free transfer this summer.
And Foot Mercato claim that the Gunners have already got in touch with the Algeria international’s representatives over a potential deal.
But Arsenal face stiff competition with Atletico Madrid, Monaco, Valencia, AC Milan and Everton all keeping tabs on the midfielder’s situation.
Ghezzal was one of the stars of Lyon’s season last year, scoring eight goals and registering eight assists in 29 Ligue 1 appearances.
But this term, a hamstring injury has restricted the tricky winger to just nine league starts so far.
