From the transfer window of the summer to this January transfer window, Arsenal have been among the clubs involved heavily in the transfers of players.
Liverpool are looking to beat Arsenal to AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang ahead of proposed £15million move, reports say.
Niang, 22, has been repeatedly linked with Arsenal’s Premier League rival Liverpool during the January transfer window.
Milan boss Vincenzo Montella recent confirmed the player may leave the Serie A outfit after a frustrating five-year spell.
Manchester United were also linked with the versatile forward earlier in the month but Sky Sport Italia say Liverpool have moved ahead in the transfer race.
It is claimed representatives from Anfield and West Ham are in talks with Niang in Milan hotels, with the player reportedly desperate to make the switch to England.
Crystal Palace, desperate to bolster Sam Allardyce’s squad to ensure Premier League safety this season, are also said to be interested in the Frenchman.
Niang, a former Genoa and Montpellier loanee, has only scored three goals in 18 appearances for Milan this term and is valued at around £15m by his current club.
