Arsenal and Arsene Wenger have agreed a new two-year deal for him to remain at the club.
The news broke on Tuesday lunchtime as a number or reporters all seemed to tweet around the same time.
They had clearly been briefed.
A big sticking point had reportedly been between the club’s desire for change behind the scenes and Arsene Wenger’s reluctance.
At this point, we do not know what compromise has been reached but I think it’s safe to assume that there has been one somewhere. John Cross is reporting that Wenger will have to deal with ‘change’ after ‘amicable talks’.
