Confirmed! Ozil demands shirt number change to sign deal

There are just twists and turns in the report concerning deals for Arsenal stars.

The latest on Mesut Ozil deal is that the Germany international has asked that he be given the no.10 shirt before he’ll commit his future to Arsenal.

The Germany international has worn the No.11 shirt for the Gunners since his £42.5 million transfer from Real Madrid in 2013.

Jack Wilshere took over the shirt from Van persie in 2012 but despite his scanty Appearance for Arsenal and his loan move, he’s managed to keep the shirt.

And Ozil is keen to switch numbers.

‘Since Wilshere’s departure last summer, the number is free, but I have yet to get it,’ Ozil told Kicker.

Even though this statement has been attributed to him, we doubt the veracity of this report and we’ll not take it seriously.
