Confirmed News : 35 Million Euros Bid Made For Arsenal Target

If reports in the Spanish media are anything to go by, an offer of 35 million euros have been made for Arsenal target and former gunner Alex Song. Song who has fallen out of favour at Barcelona is a reported target for the gunners with recent quotes attributed to him claiming he will consider a return back to Arsenal.

His agent, reliable FIFA agent François Gallardo told Punto Pelota: “The offer has come through e-mail to Barcelona, but they have not yet responded to the offer.”

However, considering the amount of money involved, it is very unlikely to be that Arsenal are the team involved. Also, it is important to note that we don’t really need Song considering we already have Flamini who has been doing a very good job for us ever since he joined in the summer on a free transfer.

Song left Arsenal in 2012 after having one of his best season as a football. Manchester United and AC Milan have also recently been linked to the Cameroon international midfielder.

  1. Why would Wenger buy him for more than the amount his sold him for? With Song you have to remember it was Wenger’s choice to sell him it wasn’t a RVP situation so stop lying Song was never a target!

  2. Pie in the sky acting by his agent, trying to create interest that probably doesn’t exist ANYWHERE.

Song made a dramatic improvement after his loan spell at Charlton, unfortunately he forgot that he was no Messi an allowed himself to be swayed by his feeling of self importance.

Pure and simply where would Song fit in the midfield. Thank god a total non starter.
