Arsenal will in a matter of days complete their second summer signing if you believe various reports in the English media today. According to a report this weekend by Skysports, Arsenal are increasingly close to the signing of Alvaro Morata and the discussion for the signing is already at an advanced stage.
The former Juventus player is reportedly seen as an upgrade on Olivier Giroud by Arsene Wenger and although he has been linked with both Chelsea and PSG, it seems Arsenal will end up winning the race to sign the player. Especially as Chelsea seem to have dropped out of the race after they completed the signing of Michy Batshuayi from Olympic Marseille while PSG on their own part seem more interested in signing Higuain or Lukaku.
Real Madrid are said to be demanding in excess of £38 million for the Spaniard which is steep considering he has not shown himself to be prolific in the past but considering how inflated the market is at the moment, £38 million seems fair. If Morata joins Arsenal, considering how much chances we create, he will certainly score tons of goals.
His style of play will perfectly suit Mesut Ozil who likes strikers who enjoy running behind defenders.
