With the Premier League season just a fortnight away, Arsenal are looking to bolster their thin attacking line as confirmed by Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners were linked to Gonzalo Higuain, who has now moved to Juventus, they also tried signing Jamie Vardy, who opted to remain with Foxes and they have seen bids for Aleksandre Lacazette rebuffed. Not without a link also to Real Madrid star man Jese Rodriguez.
Having seen his playing time reduced to bare minimum under manager Zinedine. Zidane, the 23-year-old is reportedly fed up with life at the Spanish capital and he is coming round to the idea of switching to the Premier League.
Now, Zidane has spewed fuel on the player’s exit rumours with this statement:
“If he wants to leave to play more, I don’t know.
“It’s our first game. He’s here, he played. Everyone’s here, that’s all I can say now.”
Skysports are now reporting that the player is likely to join Paris Saint Germain and not Arsenal as confirmed by the coach of the club Unai Emery.
“It’s a possibility, as are other opportunities in the transfer window,” Emery said during PSG’s tour of the US. I know Jese well, the club knows Jese well, he is a good player.”
Jese scored five league goals for Real last season, but struggled to force his way past Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo to get into the starting line-up.
