Arsenal have placed a £15 million price tag on their defender Rob Holding as he looks increasingly likely to leave the club in the summer, according to The Sun.
The defender has failed to secure a regular place in the starting line up at Arsenal and reporter Alan Nixon claims that the Gunners will be open to offers for the center back.
Rob Holding has attracted interests from the likes of Burnley, with the Clarets making their interest known in January but were only willing to pay £4 million for the defender, as they were told they will have to pay £20 million for their other target Joe Worrall.
However, it is expected that they will be back in the summer for the defender who has a contract at Arsenal until 2020.
Rob Holding was voted Bolton’s Player of the Year in 2016 before moving to Arsenal for £2 million, he has not become a regular two years after his move North London.
I’m of the opinion though that rather than being sold, he should be loaned out or sold with a buy back clause as he has shown his immense potentials in patches.
Few will quickly forget his performances towards the end of last season and in the final of the FA Cup last season, and with more experience his current deficiencies in positional awareness and indecision on the ball, will be sorted out.
