The interlull is very well in full swing and there’s a bit of quietness per team news.
With the January transfer market already in sight, Arsenal may not be signing some players but we may see some departures.
Latest reports are in the claim that Juventus have lined up Oliver Giroud as a possible replacement for their Premier League bound striker Mario Mandzukic.
The striker is apparently on his way out of the Serie A club, with reports claiming that he could be on his way to the Premier League.
Calciomercato claim that first on their list of potential replacements is Liverpool’s Divock Origi. However, if the Italians can’t get hold of him, they’re said to be after Giroud as back-up.
Giroud has fallen down the selection perking order of Wenger and he might consider a move away from the Emirates if he does not get his place in the team.
I do think that Giroud has a lot more to offer the current squad and it’d be a shame to see him go.
Although, he is currently injured, he will hardly get into the team of Arsenal considering the blistering form of Alexis Sanchez.
