Arsenal supporters were handed a shock report earlier this evening when Arsenal released a statement on their site that we will be without Santi Cazorla for up to two months.
The midfield maestro has been out of action since the 19th Oct when we demolished Ludogrets in the Champions League. He resumed training briefly but had a setback and he is now being scheduled for a surgery next week.
Although, we have maintained our consistency of not losing games, Arsenal have looked dismally poor in his absence with the midfielders unable to retain possession and this portends danger to our title ambition.
And, following Cazorla’s latest setback, a large section of optimistic Gooners were calling for Wenger to do the unthinkable – bring Cesc Fabregas back to north London.
He couldn’t, could he?

We're gonna need a midfielder in Jan if Cazorla is out whole season.. Cesc 👀

Fabregas would be a great buy in Jan not saying it will happen but seeing Cazorla's out for 3 months wouldn't mind barely plays for Chelsea. https://t.co/qqp8eEnZ0S

Might be an unpopular choice but with Cazorla out for a further 3 months I would re sign Fabregas to play the role Santi does so well

Should bring Fabregas back home now that Cazorla is out, whatever anyone says, I'd take him back anyday, get out of jail free card tbh
