Several names have thrown into the fray as Arsene Wenger’s probable replacement since the recent poor form of the club.
According to report,
Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel has distanced himself from reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the 43-year-old is on the Gunners’ shortlist of candidates to replace Arsene Wenger at the end of the season.
But Tuchel, who is in his second season with Dortmund, insists he is happy to stay with the Bundesliga club.
‘I have a contract in Dortmund and am happy,’ said Tuchel.
‘I can’t say anything about that because I don’t know anything about it.’
On Thursday, Wenger, whose contract expires at the end of the season, failed to confirm reports that he has already been offered a new deal by Arsenal.
‘Once again, thank you for caring about my future, but that’s not the most important thing,’ Wenger first deflected.
‘My future is in front of me every time I make a half-turn. What is important for me is that Arsenal Football Club does well, and I dedicate my whole energy to the club doing well.’
