THOMAS LEMAR reportedly left Monaco training ‘very upset’ yesterday – sparking more talk of a move to Arsenal.
Lemar is Arsenal’s top transfer target and Arsene Wenger has already seen two bids rejected.
But Wenger remains keen to make Lemar part of his new-look strike force having already broken the club’s transfer record with a move for Alexandre Lacazette.
Monaco have been holding out for around £50m with Arsenal so far only bidding £30m.
But Wenger may be encouraged to go back in following the emergence of a fall out during training yesterday.
Fabinho and Kylian Mbappe are said to have fallen out seeing the defender storm away from the session.
Video footage can be seen of Fabinho leaving the pitch and kicking a ball away in anger.
And it has now led to suggestions Lemar was left upset with the incident.
Arsenal fan account @ArsenalPoper tweeted: “Lemar was affected by a bust-up between teammates Mbappé and Fabinho, though he wasn’t directly involved. He left the training session.”
And a Monaco fan account – MunegUK – also claims Lemar left training very upset.
“Lemar was very upset as well and left the training facilities without signing any autographs,” he said.
Lemar rose to prominence last season with Monaco winning Ligue 1 and reaching the semi-final of the Champions League.
But Monaco have seen that side decimated with Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy and Tiemoue Bakayoko already leaving with Lemar, Fabinho, and Mbappe linked with exits.
