Leicester City’s wantaway star Riyad Mahrez is definitely off to Arsenal during this summer transfer window, according to the bookmakers.
The odds on a Mahrez move to the Gunners are continuing to drop and are as short as 1/12 on for a move before deadline day on August 31.
The 1/12 odds are with Paddy Power, but William Hill and Betfred make the move 1/10 on with SkyBet at 1/7 and the best odds being as short as 1/5 on with Coral and Betfair.
Although bookmakers may have the deal at such sort odds, it is understood that City still have had no bid from Arsenal or any other team.
In fact, the second favourite in the betting is for Mahrez to stay at City and you can get odds of 6/1 on that being the case by the end of the transfer window.
Early joint favourites Monaco have continued to drift in the betting and are now 14-1 and, if you fancy a long-shot, you can get a move to West Ham for Mahrez at 33/1.
More than 70 per cent of all bets placed have been on an Arsenal move, with Mahrez staying at Leicester being just 6.5 per cent of the total market.
