Riyad Mahrez is back in the news for Arsenal.
Reports making the rounds claims Arsenal have increased their bid for their prime transfer target Riyad Mahrez.
Earlier in the week, Arsenal reportedly saw an offer of £30 million rebuffed for the player and L’Equipe now claims the Gunners are yet unrelenting as they have launched a fresh bid of 35million Pounds for the winger.
The Gunners were reportedly set to end their interest in the Leicester playmaker, who looked set to remain at the King Power Stadium for another season but the Algerian is in the want of a move to the Emirates.
He earlier rejected contract talks with Leicester City that was meant to keep him at the club for a long period. Leicester City manager, Claudio Raniery wants the player to stay put at the club for this season.
Arsenal may have been boosted in their pursuit of the player after they lost their first Premier League game to Hull City. Mahrez angrily walked into the dugout and there are claims in the media houses that the player will hand in a transfer request.
Leicester are hoping to sign former Feyenoord winger Liandro Martis who has been on trial at the club, with the player drawing comparisons with reigning Player of the Year, Mahrez.
