Arsenal might have lost to Chelsea yesterday in the capital one cup, however there is some good news for Arsenal and all their fans in the injury front as the duo of Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott are both set to return to training with the team this week. Yesterday, Podolski posted on his instagram page that he will be back to training this week but that doesn’t seem to be the only good news for Arsenal.
Theo Walcott is also set to be back to training this week for Arsenal after missing the last 4 fews due to an unknown abdominal injury. Although in the absence of the duo, Arsenal have climbed to the top of the premier league table but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could do with some other options in attack which both Walcott and Podolski offer.
With Olivier Giroud the only senior striker at the club, having Podolski and Walcott back will offer Wenger the opportunity of rotating his fragile squad as the gunners head into the crucial month of November where the fixtures will come thick and fast.
Also likely to make a return to training this week is Gedion Zelalem who was supposed to return to training last week but according to Wenger had a set back.
