Arsenal is hoping to complete their second summer signing as soon as possible report from Squawka who are citing Sky Italian as source claims. The Gunners are looking to strengthen their attacking options and have been linked with so many players like who are available and up for grabs.
Arsenal have been linked with Real Madrid striker, Alvaro Morata in recent weeks this summer as he appears to be the ‘top target’ of Arsene Wenger’s list.
The Real Madrid striker has insinuated that he is ready to play for any club as soon as a first team football is guaranteed and Arsenal tends to be the possible destination for the player.
The Gunners face competition from Manchester United and Chelsea for the striker’s signature but, the likes of Chelsea might be backing off from the deal after they completed the signing of Marseille’s Striker, Batshuayi while United are still in the race, Arsenal seems to be the ‘most’ interested to get the player ahead of its rivals.
Arsenal Legend and youth team coach, Thierry Henry has recently declared his love for the striker claiming he loves the 23 year old desire to score goals.
“Alvaro Morata reminds me of Torres,” Henry told BBC Sport before Spain’s 2-0 defeat Italy. “He doesn’t want to do a lot in terms of dropping, coming into play but he just wants to go in behind.
“He doesn’t want to come short, he wants to score goals. That’s what I love about him.”
The striker, who is with the Spanish team in Euro 2016, has bundled for himself three goals in the group stages for La Roja.
