Reports from Spain today indicates Alvaro Morata is most certainly on his way to England this summer with Arsenal the most likely destination as Chelsea look like they will be signing Michy Batshuayi from Marseille.
Real Madrid have announced they have triggered the buy-back clause in Morata’s Contract and the player will join in for pre-season but it is widely known that Real Madrid are ready to listen to the right offers for their former youth player.
Morat has already been linked with moves to PSG, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal. But according to Property giants, Proto, it appears Arsenal have won the race for the player as he is said to be house hunting in the city of London which if if true means there is already a deal in place.
Reports by Mirror in May had indicated that Arsenal are prepared to offer the highly rated striker as much as £155,000 a week to convince him to move to Arsenal rather than any of the aforementioned clubs.
Real Madrid are said to be demanding as much as £38 million for Morata which is steep considering the player hasn’t achieved much and is only rated based on his obvious potentials. However, if a player like Deeney is worth £30m, then Morata could be worth £38 million in the very inflated market.
