Many Arsenal fans who have been wondering whether their new record signing will be starting for Arsenal against Sunderland this Saturday or whether he will come off the bench now have an answer to their question. According to THE SUN newspaper, Mesut Ozil who signed for Arsenal on the last day of the transfer window in a 42.5 million pounds deal will start right from the off away to Sunderland this weekend.
It seems Ozil will not be eased into action but thrown right into the fray right from the word go due to injuries. Rosicky who has been on a beautiful form ever since the season started has been injured on national team duty and as such Wenger is forced to start Mesut Ozil in place of him.
However, it is not only Rosicky who has coped an injury from national team duty. Yaya Sanogo is also a major doubt for this weekend’s clash. The French under 21 striker was sent back from national team duty after picking up a back problem. Walcott and Jack Wilshere are also carrying varying injuries but if reports doing the round are to be believed, both should be fit enough to take on Sunderland.
