According to reports emerging just now on the social media, Arsenal and German national team attacker Lukas Podolski has returned to full training with Arsenal for the first time since August when he suffered an hamstring injury.
Podolski was initially thought to be out for just 3 weeks but further tests showed that he would be out till the third week of December. An expert who reported checked Podolski’s injury actually reported the injury to be the worst hamstring problem he has ever seen.
Podolski was injured during Arsenal’s 2-0 win Fenerbache on August 27 in the fourth round of the UEFA champions league qualification first leg match in Turkey.
According to the reports, he is likely to play for Arsenal when the gunners take on Everton on December 8. With Podolski’s return, Arsenal’s hitherto over bloated injury list is further reduced with Theo Walcott having returned to first team action over the weekend.
