Aside from being known for his good eyes for talent, credit must be given to Arsene Wenger for his ability to nurture youngster and help them realize their dream of becoming established world class players.
Arsenal youngster Krystian Bielik has revealed that he is ready to lace his boots for Arsenal in any position, this is according to reports.
The Polish youngster joined Arsenal in the winter of 2015 from Legia Warsaw as a defensive midfielder. However, Arsene Wenger told the player that he sees him as a centre back.
the 18-year-old midfielder has been impressive playing as a centre-back in Arsenal’s prep-season games. The player revealed that he comfortable playing in that position.
“Arsene came to me and said ‘I see you as a central defender, so I want you to start learning to player there,” he told FourFourTwo.
“I just want to play for Arsenal, it doesn’t matter where that would be – defensive midfielder, right back. If Arsene wants me to be a centre-back, I will do everything I can to make him happy.”
Wenger has overseen some players converted from their used-to-be favourite position to one Wenger sees as ideal for them, and they have largely succeeded.
He may be given the chance to prove himself sooner rather than later, especially with the recent injury to Per Mertesacker.
