PSG have not given up on signing Alexis Sanchez and are willing to offer both huge wages and a huge fee in order to get him.

According to the Independent, the French giants are still looking to add him despite splashing £200m on Neymar and they believe they can make an offer that is too good to turn down.

Despite that, Sanchez still has a preference to move to Man City and join up with former boss Pep Guardiola

Arsene Wenger has reamined adamant that Sanchez will not be sold and will be an Arsenal player until at least next season when his contract expires.

However, if PSG do offer £80m then it may bee too good for Arsenal to refuse, particularly as if he does not sign a new deal they would lose him for nothing in a years time.

According to reports this morning, the Arsenal board were ready to accept a big offer if it came in for the Chilean, but Wenger blocked any such move. It may change though as things get desperate towards the end of the window.

  1. I think Wenger is to stubborn to change his mind on this issue, while I think it would be sad to see Alexis go it makes no sense to turn down £80m on offer now make him stay and cause disruption amongst other players then let him go for nothing,How does Arsene justify that situation to the money grabbing board members?

  2. I opined that Wenger should have allow the lad go, if Alexis insist of leaving, LET HIM GO! Nobody is indispensable. In the recent years the likes of Ashly Cole, Henry, Alneka, Patrick V., RPV, Fabregas, Adebayor, Nasri…. and lots more left, yet none of them change the name Arsenal to another one. Therefore whoever feels like after him ‘NO ARSENAL that person is WRONG.
