Newcastle United has rejected Arsenal’s 10 million pound bid for their Goalkeeper Tim Krul according to reports. Newcastle United have reportedly told the Arsenal they are not willing to sell the Dutchman at any price.
Arsenal are in the market for a new goal keeper after selling third choice goalkeeper Vito Mannone to Sunderland for 2 million pounds. They are reportedly looking for keepers who are good enough to either oust current first choice keeper Szczensy from the first team or one that can give him serious competition.
Arsene Wenger believes Tim Krul is good enough to provide serious competition to Wojciech Szczesny whose inconsistency is frustrating the Arsenal coaches. The gunners have also had a bid said to be about 5 million pounds rejected for Valencia’s Vicente Guaita. Palermo’s Emiliano Viviano is another keeper the club have unsuccessfully bid for in the last few days.
They are also interested in Asmir Begovic of Stoke City, Julio Cesar of QPR and reports last night have it that they have tabled a bid of 20 million pounds for Real Madrid’s Iker Casillas.
