Arsenal youngster Gedio Zelalem has announced to his followers ( friends ) on social media network twitter that he is back to training and is likely to make his professional debut for the gunners when Arsenal play Chelsea next Tuesday in the league cup.
Gedion Zelalem who impressed for Arsenal during the pre-season tour of Asia, has been out injured for the last 6 weeks and missed Arsenal’s first match in the league cup against West Brom as a result of a knee injured he couped while in training with the gunners.
Talking to his followers on twitter, the 16 year old German/American/Ethiopian said : “Nice to be back with the first team again!”
However, it remains to be seen whether Zelalem will be included in the Arsenal team that will take on Chelsea in the 4th round of the capital one cup next week or not. Should he play against Chelsea, he will become the second youngest player to have played for Arsenal after Jack Wilshere. By the time Arsenal play Chelsea on Tuesday, he will be 16 years, 9 months, 3 days, Wilshere became the youngest Arsenal player ever at the age of 16 years 8 months and 16 days when he made his debut for Arsenal.
