This transfer window has become the most arduous for Arsenal in recent seasons.
Despite having a collosal sum for the transfer window, Arsenal have seem their bids rebuffed for some players and they have been unable to complete any deal for their so-desired attacker.
According to latest report, Arsenal target Aleksandre Lacazette have been offered an improved contract at Lyon in bid to ward off Arsenal and retaining the player’s services.
However, it has been reported that despite the improved offers, the 25-year-old French bloke is keen on a new experience with Arsenal in the Premier league.
Arsenal had offered 37million Pounds for the player and it was outrightly rejected and the President of the French outfit had said they are unwilling to sell the player to us.
However, Arsenal will have to raise their offer to €50 million (£42.2 million) at least if they are to have any hope of persuading Lyon to sell their prize asset in what could be a protracted transfer saga.
Arsenal have so far had an initial offer of €35 million (£29.3 million) rejected for Lacazette and are prepared to make a second bid of £35 million (€41.5 million), but that is also expected to be turned down by the French club.
Lacazette had earlier this year, per Telegraph Sport stated that he would fancy a move to the Premier League. It is believed that Arsenal can pull a deal for him with an improve offer.
