Breaking! Massimiliano Allegri agrees Arsenal deal?

Arsene Wenger is nearing the end of his coaching career with Arsenal and the search for his successor is certainly one that would prove difficult.

Last week, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri revealed that he wants to Succeed Wenger at the Emirates. Allegri’s coach while he played at Pescara, Giovanni Galeone, reckons that Arsenal is the perfect fit for Allegri.

Since joining Juve two years ago, Allergi has helped them to two Serie A titles, a fact that won’t be lost on Gooners come the end of the season if we haven’t won the Premier League.

”The merry cycle at Juventus is over, I hope his future is in the Premier League after winning another league title (with Juventus),” Galeone said.

I think his cycle in Turin is finished. Arsenal could be the right challenge for him, for his own good, succeeding Wenger in a team that has not won for a long time.

“Tottenham or Liverpool would be a good job for him, England would be a very attractive target for Allegri’s career or maybe the (Itailian) national job.”

Arsene Wenger’s contract with Arsenal is up at the end of the season and while I’m still convinced we could see him extend for another year, I agree with the Sun (I know, I know) that the Frenchman will probably use the fans as an indicator of whether he should stay or not.

If the general fan unrest last season was anything to go by, I don’t think us not winning the Premier League yet again will go down very well and Allegri could indeed be a good replacement.
