We are just a few hours away from the close of this year’s summer transfer window, expectations have somehow been met. Wenger claimed he would sign an attacker and a defender and we already have them in Perez and Mustafi.
According to latest reports, Arsenal long term target Julian Draxler is close to sealing a move to Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain in a whopping €75million (£64million) deal.
According to Tuttor Mercato Web, Arsenal had reignited their interest in the unhappy Germany international with an offer of €50 million (£41.9 million) but our offers were rebuffed by the club who claimed he was not for sale.
Draxler has stated that he wants to leave current club Wolfsburg after a solitary season, with a lack of Champions League football having the former Schalke star searching for a new employer.

The Bundesliga side are not going to let the attacking midfielder leave on the cheap though, with Solhekol stating that PSG are set to pay a sizeable fee to land the star.
With the array of midfielders and attackers at Arsenal, a move for the Draxler seem needless.
