Serie A duo AC Milan and AS Roma have reportedly entered the race to sign Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado, with Arsenal and Inter Milan also heavily linked with his signature.
According to La Stampa via talkSPORT, Juventus have set a £27m asking price for the Colombian international ahead of the new season, a fee both Italian clubs are considering to bolster their attacking options.
Juve are looking to generate money to fund a move for Lazio’s Keita Balde Diao this summer and it seemed Arsenal would be the side to lodge a bid for the former Chelsea man. However, the Gunners are yet to meet his valuation.
Inter Milan are also among the interested parties but risk missing out on Cuadrado due to the increased competition for his services. The 29-year-old struggled for regular playing time in Turin, making just 21 Serie A appearances last season.
The South American wide man scored and created eight goals in the league as Juventus won a sixth consecutive title, but Cuadrado will surely want more game time given he isn’t getting any younger.
Earlier this summer, Hector Bellerin looked set to leave Arsenal, meaning the Gunners were sounding out a replacement. Cuadrado can operate as a wing-back which made the links something feasible.
However, the Londoners are keeping Bellerin and have Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as a secondary option so they might not be in for Cuadrado anymore.
