Arsenal have reignited their long-term interest in Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, according to reports in Spain.
The Gunners have been extensively linked with the France international for years but have never been able to prise him away from the Bernabeu.
But Benzema has struggled to produce his best form this term, scoring just five goals in 25 LaLiga outings, and it has been suggested that he could finally be sold this summer.
And, according to Spanish outlet El Confidencial, Arsenal will be at the front of the queue to sign him when the window opens.
However the 30-year-old is also said to be a top target for Borussia Dortmund despite his struggles in front of goal this term.
His strike rate this season is clearly his worst since he arrived at Madrid from Lyon back in 2009.
Benzema remains under contract until 2021 but he may decide that now is the time for a new challenge.
