Real Madrid chief Fiorentino Perez has given the green light to get Karim Benzema off their books, according to reports.
The Spanish giants have ran out of patience with the French man and are looking to sell him. Benzema was heavily linked with a move away from the Spanish club in January but eventually stayed at the club.
Fiorentino Perez is believed to be frustrated with the player’s form and wants him out.
Benzema has scored six goals in all competitions this season, with just two of those in the league.
And according to Spanish publication Don Balon via the Daily Star, Madrid are actively trying to sell the striker and have offered him to numerous clubs.
The report claims Madrid have agreed to sell the striker to an interested Chinese club but Benzema has other plans.
They claim Benzema still believes he has the quality to continue playing in Europe and wants to prove it.
Furthermore, the report claims Arsenal are interested in the forward and Wenger could move for the striker in the summer.
Arsenal being linked with Benzema is so outrageous considering we’ve spent over £100m on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in the last two windows.
The centre forward should be the least of Wenger’s worry at the moment, so it wouldn’t be wise to think he’ll be moving for another player in that position.
