According to new report from BBC, Arsenal have had a second bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang by the German club.
A reported bid of about 50m euros [£43.64m, $62,031,641.60] was reportedly made by Arsenal for the signature of the Gabon international on Wednesday and same was turned down immediately.
According to BBC who broke the news, it is believed that the club will consider selling their star man for a fee in excess of £50m.
It has previously been that the Gunners would include Olivier Giroud in any deal to sign Auba but the club’s bid for the striker on Wednesday was purely a cash offer for signing the Gabonese.
Arsenal must now decide whether or not to pursue their interest in the player or, with only a week of the transfer window remaining, the club will need to pursue alternative targets.
The striker has been targeted by the Gunners during the current window and a deputation from the club flew out to Germany to meet with their Dortmund counterparts last weekend.
Aubameyang has twice been dropped for disciplinary reasons this season and was not selected for the draw at Hertha Berlin on Friday.
