Like we said earlier, there may be no need for Arsenal to bolster their squad when the January transfer window comes alive but we are sure to see one or two departures.
According to reports, Mathieu Debuchy wants out of Arsenal and he wants the deal done in the January transfer window.
The Evening Standard report French clubs Lille and Marseille could launch bids for Debuchy in January – if he’s allowed to leave.
Debuchy used to play for Lille so a return to the cub could have an emotional pull, while Marseille are one of French football’s biggest sides.
However, the report also claims Carl Jenkinson, who is suppose to be a back up to Debuchy is also attracting interest from other clubs and Wenger will not allow two of his right back to leave at same time.
But after picking up a series of injuries he lost his place at right-back to youngster Hector Bellerin and his France call-ups stopped coming.
He’s made just 13 starts in his two-and-a-half-years in north London after Bellerin established himself as one of the Premier League’s best defenders.
And it’s claimed the 31-year-old now wants out to kickstart his career.
