Arsenal team news includes the latest on Aaron Ramsey ahead of games against Ostersund and Manchester City

Aaron Ramsey looks set to miss Sunday’s Carabao Cup final with Manchester City.

The Gunners midfielder has been out with a groin problem since scoring a hat-trick during the 5-1 win against Everton at the start of the month.

Ramsey was hopeful of returning to fitness in time to feature at Wembley, where he has scored two winning goals for Arsenal in cup finals, but Arsene Wenger is not willing to risk the Wales international, according to the Sun.

His absence will be a big blow for the Gunners, who will go into Sunday’s game as major underdogs against Pep Guardiola’s league leaders.

Wenger is expected to rest his star names for Thursday night’s match against Ostersund in the Europa League with Sunday’s final in mind.

Mesut Ozil, Nacho Monreal, Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi and Jack Wilshere will all sit out the game at the Emirates, but Henrikh Mkhitaryan will feature as he is cup-tied for this weekend’s game at Wembley.

The likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Reiss Nelson, Calum Chambers and Rob Holding are all set to start on Thursday night as Wenger opts for a youthful side at the Emirates.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will now be wearing their traditional white shorts for Sunday’s League Cup final.

Initially Arsene Wenger’s side were going to be forced to wear an all red kit, to avoid a kit clash with Manchester City.
