ALEXIS SANCHEZ could decide to sign a new contract and stay at Arsenal if big investment is made by Arsene Wenger, according to reports in Chile.
Sanchez has entered the final 12 months of his Arsenal contract and could leave for free next summer if negotiations fail to result in a new deal.
Last week the 28-year-old claimed he was “clear” in his mind about what he would do but did not reveal his decision.
Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich have all been linked with Sanchez but Wenger is reluctant to let him leave, especially to another Premier League team.
Some reports have suggested Sanchez is ready to stay at Arsenal next season.
But Chilean outlet Emol say Sanchez has three options.
They say the first possibility is for Sanchez to join City and link up again with Pep Guardiola.
The second option is to sign for Bayern Munich, but the report acknowledges quotes by president Uli Hoeness who ruled out a move because of Sanchez’s wage demands.
The third alternative is for Sanchez to stay and end his contract in 2018 or sign a new deal.
It is claimed Sanchez will only consider committing his future if he is given more money and signings are made to give Wenger the best chance of silverware.
Wenger has already taken steps to strengthen Arsenal by signing Sean Kolasinac, while Alexandre Lacazette’s club-record deal is expected to be announced on Wednesday.
