Alexis Sanchez insists Arsenal will decide his future at the end of the season and has refused to deny that he will not be signing a contract extension.
The Chilean will have only one year remaining on his current deal at the end of the season, meaning that Arsenal will need to decide whether to cash in this summer or face the prospect of losing him for free next year.
Arsene Wenger has already threatened rival clubs that he will make Sanchez stay at the club for another campaign – even if he does not commit to a new contract.
Sanchez, meanwhile, has reportedly made Bayern Munich his first-choice destination, while Chelsea are fourth on his preferred list of clubs behind Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
‘I cannot tell you now [about my future],’ the Chilean told the Daily Mirror.
‘We have to wait until the end of the season. As I always say, it doesn’t depend on me. It depends on the club. What they like, what they don’t like.
‘I always said the same: I try to do my best, to support the team, to score goals, to winwe will see at the end.
‘If they like that I carry on, or they don’t. Whatever they want, we will see it at the end of the tournament.’
