ALEXIS SANCHEZ’S row with Arturo Vidal could cause problems for Chile.
The influential striker swapped Arsenal for Manchester United in January.
But he has a long-running feud with Vidal that could cause major issues, according to Newcastlehero Faustino Asprilla.
Vidal – who currently struts his stuff at Bayern Munich – crashed his Ferrari whilst drunk following a trip to a casino during the Copa America in 2015.
Sanchez, in contrast, is a consulate professional which has caused friction behind the scenes.
Chile failed to qualify for the World Cup this summer.
And Asprilla has suggested their absence from the summer showpiece could bring issues to the fore once again.
He told La Cuarta: “The Chilean players believed that with little effort it would be enough to qualify.
“In some way it was an excess of confidence, they said ‘we are fourth and they five qualify’.
“Then, they saw each other with the rope around their necks.
