Breaking: £42.5 million-Rated Midfielder Demands Arsenal Transfer

The summer of 2013 for Arsenal fans will be fondly remembered for the signing of the club’s most expensive player Mesut Ozil – the Turkish born German playmaker is highly rated in Europe and so when he made the  £42.5 million move to the Emirates, fans went agog.

Despite being the only signing of that window, every Gunner was satisfied that Wenger could lure a player in the mould of Ozil to the Emirates. The deal paid off as he aided the us to winning the FA twice in a row with his inch-perfect assist passes.

News emerging from London, via Bild, is in the claim that Mesut Ozil has rejected talks over a new contract for him at Arsenal. This has become more worrisome for Arsenal that their ineptitude in the current transfer window.

Ozil has two more years on his contract but has chosen to postponed any talks for renewal, per the reports.

Since Ozil was signed to Arsenal in 2013, Wenger has signed only two outfield players – Sanchez was signed in the penultimate season while we added Xhaka this season and this raises questions over Arsenal’s ambition.

You cannot dismiss the possiblity that Mesut Ozil is keenly observing our transfer activities, to see if the club will add quality players that can guarantee winning titles.
