Biggest Deal! Adjudged Best European Striker Reveals Arsenal Move

Today brings us to just two months to the opening of the January transfer window but there are reports of players interested in moving to the Emirates.

Anthony Modeste if FC Koln has been fine form since the inception of this season, his 13goals in 11 appearances for the Bundesliga side helped to club moved to fourth place on the Bundesliga log.

The 28-year-old signed for the Bundesliga side last summer in a €4.5m deal, and has been finding the back of the net regularly since his arrival at the club.

Following his impressive cameos of club, Italian publication Calciomercato have been reporting on the player and a feature of the player headlines “Mosdeste, the best striker in Europe”, and it further revealed the player’s failed move to Arsenal.

Calciomercato say Modeste’s only regret is his failed move to Arsenal when he was on loan at Blackburn Rovers in 2012: ‘His one big regret is that a proposed move to Arsenal fell through in 2012 when he was on loan at Blackburn Rovers.’

While lacing his boots for Blackburn, Modeste failed to find the back of the net in nine games, but managed 17 goals in the following season at Ligue 1 club Bastia.
