There is hardly a season at Arsenal that one key player doesn’t sustain a long term injury and the latest example for this season has been Santi Cazorla.
However, ahead of the Premier League game against Swansea, Arsenal have been handed a triple injury boost with the return of Hector Bellerin, Mesut Ozil and Kieran Gibbs.
German star Ozil has not featured in Arsenal’s last three games due to illness but it is believed he is now ready to start for Arsene Wenger
Meanwhile, Bellerin sustained a minor injury in training before Arsenal’s FA Cup game and was left out of the fray. He will return against Swansea this weekend.
A knee injury sustained on Boxing Day ruled Gibbs out for three games but the England international has made a full recovery and will challenge Nacho Monreal for a starting position.
The Gunners have dropped points in three of their last five Premier League games and Wenger’s side travel to the Liberty Stadium eight points behind leaders Chelsea.
