Big Blow – Arsenal Midfielder Ruled Out For Six Weeks

Injuries are the never ending tale for Arsenal and this season is proving no different with some key players yet on the sideline with injuries.

According to reports,

“France youth international Yassin Fortune could miss as long as six weeks of action due to a recurrence of the hip injury that had ruled him out previously.

Fortune, 17, missed Arsenal’s pre-season tour at the start of the new season due to the hip injury. He recently made a comeback to the under-18 side in a youth league clash against Fulham. This report if true, which is likely to be, considering how reliable Jeorge Bird is, it will be a massive blow to the youngster.

Fortune and Jeff Reini-Adelaide joined Arsenal at the same time but it was Fortune who was the highest rated at the time. Unfortunately injuries has impaired his development whilst Reine-Adelaide has jump ahead of him in the pecking order at Arsenal.

Jeff Reine-Adelaide has been involved many times with the first team in recent times which makes one wonder what could have been if Fortune had not been hampered by injuries.”
