It is still three months to the opening of the January transfer window, but the Gunners have been linked with the transfers of some players.
Despite being heavily involved in the transfer market of the summer, Arsenal may be forced to make the signing of Marco Reus, per reports.
The Gunners have offered Mesut Ozil an improved contract but German midfield schemer has handed Arsenal a tough condition. Ozil could be heading back to the Santiago Bernabeu as reported by the Bild on Thursday.
However, Arsenal have identified Reus as the perfect replacement for Ozil, if he decides not to sign an improved Arsenal contract.
Reus has long been linked with a move to Arsenal as Wenger is an admirer of the winger. He is currently recovering from an abductor muscle tear that left him out of Germany squad for the Euro 2016 competition in France
The report suggests that despite Reus’ injuries over recent years, Wenger remains a big fan of the 27-year-old and could move for him in the near future.
